Shrimp Maki

Shrimp Maki are simple and easy to make with Mirabel Ebi.

Ingredients

Cooked Sushi Rice
Nori Sheets (toasted seaweed sheets)
Toasted white & black sesame seeds, for sprinkling
Japanese spicy mayonnaise
Avocado, cut in thin slices
Cucumber, julienned
Tobiko (Japanese flying fish roe)
Tempura Shrimp (see recipe)

Method

Spread sushi rice thinly and evenly on Nori sheet, covering ¾ of the sheet. Sprinkle generously with toasted sesame seeds. Flip Nori sheet over. Drizzle Japanese mayonnaise horizontally across center of sheet and top mayonnaise with a singer layer of avocado, cucumber, Tobiko and Tempura Shrimp. Roll topped Nori sheet, tightly and evenly and slice into bite size pieces.
