Shrimp Maki are simple and easy to make with Mirabel Ebi.
|Cooked Sushi Rice|
|Nori Sheets (toasted seaweed sheets)|
|Toasted white & black sesame seeds, for sprinkling|
|Japanese spicy mayonnaise|
|Avocado, cut in thin slices|
|Tobiko (Japanese flying fish roe)|
|Tempura Shrimp (see recipe)|
Spread sushi rice thinly and evenly on Nori sheet, covering ¾ of the sheet. Sprinkle generously with toasted sesame seeds. Flip Nori sheet over. Drizzle Japanese mayonnaise horizontally across center of sheet and top mayonnaise with a singer layer of avocado, cucumber, Tobiko and Tempura Shrimp. Roll topped Nori sheet, tightly and evenly and slice into bite size pieces.
