Sourcing and Suppliers

With long-term commitment in mind, we partner with suppliers who are committed to excellence and share our vision for products of superior quality. You can count on High Liner to maintain a rigorous multi-step supplier screening and selection process. We follow a three step approach:

• 1.Supplier Qualification – our extensive audit and approval process ensures that our partners maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and are HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certified. They must also show acceptable employee practices and a clear understanding of sound seafood harvesting.
• 2.Supplier Partnership – once approved, High Liner’s audit team visits a potential supplier’s facility and develops an approved manufacturing process and product specification.
• 3.Quality Control – Products and raw materials are sourced by High Liner and monitored continuously and extensively throughout the manufacturing and distribution process.
